Hoff Barthelson: Summer Arts Program

Students rolled, pinched, and molded clay this week to create an array of unusual items. Some projects were music oriented such as a flute and sheet music while others varied depending on individual interests (helicopters, animals, bowls, initials, and so forth). Students used fine motor skills to shape their creations and assorted sculpting tools to create texture on the clay. Marbelex gray clay is an air drying clay.
