5th and 6th grade girls at Westchester Hills School 29 in Yonkers created amazing mosaics using cut paper and rubber cement. Some girls used a stencil to help guide them while others did not. This six week artist residency uses collage to express self esteem.

A dozen 5th and 6th grade girls at Westchester Hills School 29 will be participating for the next six weeks in a self-esteem program that uses collage to express how they feel about themselves. During the first class the girls used collage to create self portraits. This artist residency is funded by a grant from ArtsWestchester.
