Dara Kane will be participating in Free Arts Day at ArtsWestchester from 12:30pm - 2pm on Sunday December 6th. Children of all ages can decorate their own felt bag. Don't miss the fun!
Free Arts Day began after 9/11 as a response to the tragic events of that day. Now, it has become an annual event that celebrates the arts and culture in Westchester county. This one day only event features Westchester's best art organizations who are generously offering free admission to their museums, arts centers and historical sites while hosting music and dance performances, storytelling, and workshops.

Dara Kane has been selected to join the Artist Roster at ArtsWestchester. She will be teaching art in local schools and community centers in Westchester county.
"Established in 1965 as a private, not-for-profit program organization, we have grown to become the County’s designated arts council and the largest of its kind in New York State. Our mission is to provide leadership, vision, and support, to ensure the availability, accessibility, and diversity of the arts. Our grants help fund concerts, exhibitions and plays; we bring artists into schools and community centers; we are the premiere marketer of the arts in Westchester" (ArtsWestchester, 2009).
